The Rock Hill Herald ran a very interesting article in their online edition early this morning. It seems that Kris Jenkins, the Panthers’ starting defensive tackle, has his house up for sale.
According to the article, Jenkins moved out of the house last year and has stepped up his efforts to sell the property. That’s certainly not something someone usually does if they are planning to remain in the neighborhood. It’s not terribly surprising since Jenkins has reportedly been unhappy in Charlotte for quite a while.
If a deal is made to move him, the Panthers could be relying on Damione Lewis to take Jenkins’ spot along the defensive line. We’ll keep our ears open for any more developments.

If DT is addressed early in the draft, I'd love to see them go after either Pat Sims or Kentwan Balmer, though that could involve moving up in the 2nd or trading Jenkins for a high-2nd round pick.
