The Carolina Panthers didn’t just lose a game on Sunday. This note from the Associated Press:
Carolina Panthers rookie linebacker Dan Connor will miss the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Connor will be placed on injured reserve, but the Panthers on Monday had not immediately signed another player to take his roster spot.
Connor was injured in Sunday’s loss to Minnesota and was carted to the locker room.
A third-round pick from Penn State, Connor played on special teams in the first three games.
All that depth the team had at linebacker? Evaporating pretty much the same as the one game lead the team had coming into this past weekend.

Kind of helps and is nice to keep up with Panthers with this blog in the offseason. Hope we can keep it up. I have really bad withdrawals when the season is over. I miss it already, well actually, it started when we lost to Arizona.
