The Carolina Panthers have had another kickoff time moved back according to the Associated Press.
The NFL has shifted the starting time for the Carolina Panthers’ home game with the Denver Broncos on Dec. 14 from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The move is part of the league’s flexible scheduling that allows television networks to move starting times. The Broncos-Panthers game will be televised by CBS.
It’s the second time this season the Panthers have had a starting time changed. Their game at Atlanta last Sunday was also moved back three hours to 4:15 p.m.
The change will allow for a few more hours of rest in what will be a short week for Carolina following a Monday night home game with Tampa Bay on Dec. 8.
Looks like they like the Panthers enough and think enough of them to consider their games marquee matchups but don’t we all like those early 1pm games? I’m sure the players do especially when they’re at home. In two weeks, they’ll have to wait a little more than three hours extra to spend some time with wives and girlfriends after the game.
