The Carolina Panthers announced today that stadium president Jon Richardson and team president Mark Richardson have announced their resignations from the Carolina Panthers.
Jerry Richardson commented stating that, “Both Mark and Jon made great contributions to the stadium and team that have enabled us to enjoy much success over the last 15 years. At the same time, I am thankful that we have a staff that has been in place for many years and knows our philosophy.”

Update on roster cuts:
The Carolina Panthers have made their first round of preseason roster cuts, waiving wide receiver Ryne Robinson, tackle Gerald Cadogan and defensive tackle Lorenzo Williams and placing guard C.J. Davison on injured reserve.
New addition to the team:
The Panthers traded for DT Louis Leonard from the Cleveland Browns for an undisclosed draft pick. Hopefully this move will help shore up the defensive line for the organization.
