NFL Kickoff Tonight

Tonight the ball will be kicked, passed and ran for the first time at full speed.  There is something special about kicking off the regular season.  All teams are equal and nobody has an advantage.  Well…maybe.

Some teams are better than others like the Patriots, Steelers, Chargers, Eagles, Giants, and Panthers.  But overall every team is equal tonight.  All the analysts are making their predictions and bloggers are burning the midnight oil looking for that surprise player that will make a difference.  After looking around I must say there are some players that could explode this year and wake up their teams.  Time will tell.

Panther fans are relieved today knowing that Beason and Stewart both practiced yesterday.  I am thankful that we will have Steve Smith in the first game.  Nothing weird happened this year with Smith, but that could actually be a bad thing because every year that he has done something crazy the Panthers have made it to the playoffs.

Let’s talk about tonight.  The Titans will roll into Steeler nation in hopes of giving the Super Bowl champs their first loss.  The hitting will be brutal and fans will be jacked.  The NFL picked a great match-up to start off the season.
