Some news hot off the press; former Carolina Panthers running back Stephen Davis will rejoin the Panthers at the start of training camp.

No, not as a running back. Even better. As a coaching intern.

Proud to announce my client Stephen Davis will be the minority coaching intern for the Carolina Panthers this season! Congratulations! –Davis’ agent, David Canter

Davis was given a minority coaching internship with the team for training camp, and one could only assume he will be spending plenty of time with the dynamic duo of “Double Trouble.”

Davis was with the Panthers from 2003 to 2005. In that time, he was one of the integral cogs to take the Panthers to their first and lone Super Bowl appearance in 2004.
