BREAKING NEWS: Cam Newton To Start Against Dolphins

Ron Rivera
has announced that
Cam Newton
will start against the Miami Dolphins in Preseason Week 2.
Cam will play the 1st quarter with the 1st team offense, and Clausen will play in the 2nd quarter with the same players.
Coach Rivera is using this as a determining factor in deciding who he will deem the starting quarterback this season. This in no way means that Rivera is ready to name Newton the starter, but a way for Rivera to judge how Cam plays when he is out there from the beginning.
There are going to be arguments about the QB position on Carolina, but the fact is, Newton will ultimately be a better QB than Clausen.
