Cat Craves NFC South Awards for Week 5: Brees repeats as top offensive performer

It was another underwhelming week of individual performances for NFC South players in Week 5. Only one team, the New Orleans Saints, came out of Sunday’s slate of games with a victory as the edged out the Carolina Panthers 30-27. The Tampa Bay Bucs were thoroughly dismantled by the 49ers 48-3 and the Falcons looked unimpressive again as they fell to the Green Bay Packers 25-14.

Though there were a handful of impressive showings on the offensive side of the ball only one player stood out on defense and special teams. Continue reading to see who won this week’s awards.
