Rasheed Walker's struggles continue
The Carolina Panthers have no choice but to keep Rasheed Walker in the lineup. While the veteran left tackle has underperformed so far this season, fans hoped a clash against the team that let him walk this offseason would light a fire under him at prime time.
That didn't happen. Walker again failed to provide Bryce Young with the blindside consistency he needed, and the Green Bay Packers knew exactly how to attack his weaknesses.
The Penn State product couldn't cope with the power rushes from anybody. Walker cannot anchor effectively or get into his pass sets quickly enough. It's an ongoing problem, and there is no real solution.
More cornerback turmoil
The Panthers were already short-handed at cornerback. Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson Sr. are still out. Akayleb Evans was also placed on injured reserve, leaving Carolina down to the bare bones.
Marco Wilson came in off the practice squad and started. And just when things couldn't get much worse, rookie fourth-rounder Will Lee III left the game in the second quarter with a hamstring injury after getting burned deep by wide receiver Christian Watson.
This is a big problem. General manager Dan Morgan has been reluctant to make any bold moves at corner. Now, with Lee potentially missing time, the team has no choice but to act decisively.

Carolina Panthers' discipline issues
Head coach Dave Canales has been promising improvements in the team's discipline for weeks now. Unfortunately, his players just aren't getting the message.
While the infringement numbers were down at Lambeau Field, they came at frustrating moments. Whether it's nervousness or a lack of technique is debatable, but these problems continuing over and over are deeply concerning.
It's a collective failure. The players need to do their part, but this falls on the coaching staff, too. And if it carries on for much longer, things are going to get even more precarious for the Panthers over the second half of 2026.
Derrick Brown's impact
Pro Bowl defensive lineman Derrick Brown might not have filled up the stat sheet this season, but he is finding ways to make an impact. And the sheer force with which he pushed the pile was a sight to behold against the Packers.
Brown gets more attention than anyone on Carolina's defensive front. It doesn't seem to bother him much, with his violent hands and brute strength causing endless problems against Green Bay's rushing attack throughout.
Others may not have lived up to their end of the bargain, especially on the edge, but this was much more like it from the Auburn product.
