Back to the Pack? Wahle Says He Might Return

One day after a report that Mike Wahle was on his way west to visit with the Seahawks, there is another story out there telling us that he might also be on the move to the Green Bay Packers.  The Milwauke Journal Sentinel reports that Wahle might return to where he started his NFL career – with the Packers.

"On Tuesday, a day after he was released by the Carolina Panthers, Wahle said the Packers were the kind of team that appeals to him and returning to the organization that brought him into the National Football League nine years ago would be something he could envision.“I would definitely consider it,” said Wahle, who left the Packers in 2005 for a five-year, $27 million free agent contract with the Panthers and made the Pro Bowl that year for the first time. “They’re a real class organization. I’ve got a lot of respect for that franchise.”"

The logjam that Green Bay has at Guard might cause the veteran to reconsider since he could wind up on the bench or could get limited playing time.

I’ve always wanted to be able to say this…We’ll continue to follow this developing story.
