Panthers Football!!!!!!

The Carolina Panthers came out clawing against the Arizona Cardinals. The defense was not only good but Jake Delhomme, yes I said Jake Delhomme came with a fabulous day with 7/14, 90 yards, a touchdown and yes ZERO interceptions.

The defense forces the Cardinals offense to make 6 turnovers in the game. Julius Peppers was having a great day with a interception, returned for 13 yards for a touchdown, a forced fumble, and a sack. Charles Johnson sacked Sherrod Martin the rookie having 2 interceptions, Thomas Davis also with a interception, and Tyler Brayton with a fumble recover.

The offense wasn’t that bad either with DeAngelo Williams having 158 yards in the game and Jonathan Stewart with 87 yards and 2 touchdowns. Steve Smith got his fist touchdown of the year with  50 yards from Jake. Dwayne Jarrett had a decent game with 22 yards and a big third down conversion in the first half.

Next week we head down to New Orleans to take on the Saints, in a big matchup. The Saints are (6-0) facing the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. They could be facing an undefeated team, or hopefully in our case (6-1). But whatever the case maybe, I know the Panthers can pull out a win.

My advice for this week is to keep the momentum in your favor and don’t let it go. To Jake stay healthy, keep having no interceptions, and to DeAngleo keep this offense running and take charge.
