Carolina Panthers 2010 Draft Order
Just a quick update on where the Carolina Panthers have draft picks in 2010’s NFL Draft in April.
As we know, the Panthers traded this year’s first-round pick in last year’s draft to the San Francisco 49ers, to move up in the second round to select defensive end Everette Brown.
So the 49ers are drafting at 13 and 17 in the first round with Carolina’s pick.
The Panthers first pick (provided Marty Hurney and John Fox–or whoever the head coach is, doesn’t trade away next year’s draft pick to move up) is in the second round at 48.
The Panthers also have a selection in the third and fourth round, two in the sixth round (one from the Oakland Raiders as compensation for Brandon Myers), and they have a seventh-round selection.
The Panthers do not have a pick in the fifth round, since the tradeed a pick to the Kansas City Chiefs as compensation for defensive tackle Tank Tyler.
