Panthers Announce Training Camp Dates
Thanks to local media source The Charlotte Observer, I just learned the Panthers’ dates for training camp.
According to the source, it will begin earlier this year than it has in previous years, but it will still maintain it’s same location at Wofford College.
The team will report to the campus on July 28, and practices will commence on July 29.
There will also be a few events hosted by the Panthers this year, something which is also new to me: After some of the night practices, a movie will be shown; players will be throwing T-shirts to fans following Tuesday afternoon practices. A program known as “Panthers Pals” is making a comeback, which allows young fans an opportunity to meet some of their favorite Panthers players.
On Saturday, July 31, there will be a “Back to Football” party. It will begin before the evening practice, and continue at Gibbs Stadium after practice has concluded, as well.
Training Camp dates are July 29, thru August 18. Practice times are available via The Charlotte Observer’s website.
