Cat Cravings Around the Web

Good Tuesday morning, Cat Cravers, and welcome to edition five of “Cat Cravings Around the Web!”

There’s a decent amount of news out there on our Panthers, so let’s get started.

Starting out at The Charlotte Observer, beat writer Darin Gantt has a fresh perspective on rookie quarterback Jimmy Clausen, who is said to be “taking it down a notch.”

For the time being, Clausen is third on the depth chart behind Matt Moore and second-string QB Hunter Cantwell.

From the same site, we now take a look at Darin Gantt’s “Panther Notes,” and about how running back Jonathan Stewart is faring at this point after the offseason Achilles’ surgery.

Fellow running back DeAngelo Williams missed minicamp, but has done most of what’s asked of him in OTA’s.

From the team website, Panthers.com, we find a piece by the voice of the Carolina Panthers, Mick Mixon. Seriously, where do these guys get these names?

With the injury to linebacker Thomas Davis, things are getting stirred up on the depth chart at the linebacker position. Mixon details that in “Panthers Changing WIL.”

Finally, probably the most important but least surprising news of the offseason, veteran wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad bowed out with grace last week, ending a successful 14-year career in the NFL.

Panthers.com has a nice tribute video.

Have a great Tuesday, Cat Cravers!
