Carolina Panthers RT Jeff Otah Recovering from Surgery
On Wednesday, Carolina Panthers right tackle Jeff Otah underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, which has been troubling him since last December.
Otah was placed on the PUP list last week, when Carolina opened training camp, and it was recently decided that Otah would go for a second surgery .
"I think it was a good move and something he’ll recover from pretty quickly. –Carolina Panthers head coach, John Fox"
At this time, Fox is hopeful that Otah will be back in time for the start of the regular season, and the Panthers first game on the road at the New York Giants.
In the meantime, Geoff Schwartz has been filling in for Otah at the right tackle position, and will likely do so for the remainder of preseason.
