Carolina Panthers ‘Slash’ Roster
Okay, today’s the day. While at my soccer match, the Carolina Panthers have been busy for quite some time making roster moves. I will add to this post as more names are released…no pun intended.
At quarterback, Carolina will roll with three. Surprisingly enough, the odd man out is Hunter Cantwell, who was placed on waivers. I didn’t see that one coming — Carolina plays a good poker face! I personally like the move, as Tony Pike will show more upside than Cantwell has.

* = Carolina plans to re-sign player to it’s practice squad, once (if) he clears waivers.
The Panthers have cut their roster down to 53 men.
Of their 10 draft picks in 2010, Carolina kept nine, only releasing cornerback R.J. Stanford. Also making it past the final round of cuts were wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett, defensive tackle Nick Hayden, and newly-signed offensive guard Tim Duckworth.
