Injury Report Week Three

The Panthers are a bit beat up in the secondary as they head into the third week of the season. Cornerback Chris Gamble and safety Charles Godfrey are both listed on the team’s injury report and more than likely the team will be without at least one of their services when they hit the field this Sunday.

Gamble is questionable with an ankle injury, while Godfrey is doubtful with a concussion. Gamble practiced on a limited basis on Thursday and did not practice at all Friday. It seems like he rolled his ankle during praticice on Wednesday. Hopefully he will be able to go because it looks as though Godfrey is out.

The Panthers safety suffered a concussion in the game last Sunday against the Green Bay Packers and has yet to practice this week due to symptoms from the hit.

Quarterback Cam Newton is also listed on the injury report with an ankle injury. He looked like he suffered the injury sometime during the game on Sunday but it doesn’t seem serious. He fully participated in practice all week and is listed as probable.
