Carolina Panthers Injury Report Week Six
What would the weekly injury report post be without a mention of Jeff Otah? Well luckily we don’t have to find out, because once again the Panthers big offensive tackle is listed on the team’s injury report along with defensive end Charles Johnson, safety Jermale Hines and linebacker Omar Gaither.
Otah is listed as questionable after missing some time this week with a back problem. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday and was limited on Friday. He should be a game time decision but it sounds as though he is going to play this week. The biggest name on the injury report is defensive end Charles Johnson. Last week, Johnson for the first week this season failed to record a sack but it looks like he will be playing this week and looking to start a new sack streak this week.
He missed practice on Thursday with a hip injury, but practiced fully Friday and should play and be pretty much 100 percent healthy.
Hines, the team’s recent free agent signing, is listed as questionable with an undisclosed illness causing him to miss practice both Thursday and Friday. Finally, linebacker Omar Gaither who hurt his knee during the New Orleans Saints game last Sunday is out this week.
