Good day to have Aaron Rodgers in Fantasy Football

Well if you were playing one of the quarterbacks in the Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers game today, then let me be the first to extend my hand and offer your a congratulations on a nice victory in fantasy football this week. If you haven’t seen it, Philip Rivers and Aaron Rodgers were playing at an unreal level,  as the two players were dueling it out for the victory. The two quarterbacks combined to throw for 588 yards through the air and eight touchdowns, just in that game.

Wow, that is all I have to say about Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The dude is unbelievable, on the season he how has throw for 24 touchdowns and just three interceptions on the season. He has been great this season and  looks like he just gets better each and every game. His final stat line for the game today was 21-26 for 247 yards and four touchdowns, helping keep the Packers undefeated as they defeated the Chargers 45-38.

And that isn’t even mentioning the New York Giants and New England Patriots game. After zero points were scored in the first half of the game, the two teams have combined for 44 points in the second half, trading scores back and forth, finally capping it off with an Eli Manning one-yard touchdown pass to seal the victory for the Giants, 24-20. This was the first time these two teams have met since Super Bowl XLII back in 2008 and it was almost as good of a game, expect for the unreal David Tyree catch.

What a day for football. I know the Panthers were on a bye, so the Sunday afternoon wasn’t quiet the same but these two games definitely made up for the lack of Panther football today.
