2012 NFL Fantasy League: A 12-team League’s Draft Results

This is the third and final NFL Fantasy league I participate in. Thanks to nfl.com for hosting such a user-friendly (and free!) NFL draft site.
This League is in its third incantation…or since whenever NFL.com actually hosted fantasy leagues. Might be their 4th year, but they got started very late in the craze.
The point is, none of the participants in the draft chose too many players far out of position. I think many who weren’t at the “live” draft must’ve pre-ranked players; I know a couple did because they were on auto-pick and weren’t choosing the “next guy in line.”
Without further ado, here are the league’s position settings – note that it’s ALMOST a “normal” setup – there’s that RB/WR flex position but there’s also a QB/RB/WR/TE flex. Again, smart owners (which I think I am one – experienced at least) will take 3 decent QBs. That third QB when you have two spots is VERY important for two reasons. First, they will be starting twice, not once, for your two QBs’ bye weeks. Secondly, with 2 QBs starting, there’s double the chance for injury:

Before we get to the draft results, let me just mention I had wanted Aaron Rodgers with my 2nd overall pick. The #1 guy was present, and he took him!! ARGH!!
