Cam Newton is one of the most competitive Madden gamers in the NFL, and he made it clear that he is ready to battle Richard Sherman.  Not only is Cam ready to wear the crown of Madden ’15 cover-boy, he’s ready to beat Sherman head-to-head in the game itself.  Jonathan Jones at the Charlotte Observer on the Newton vs. Sherman Battle Royale.

In “ex-Panthers” related news, the Chicago Bears are becoming the Windy City Panthers at WR.  After  former-Panther Domenik Hixon was lost for the season with his third torn-ACL, the Bears replaced him with another former Panther.  Armanti Edwards signed with the Bears on Tuesday.
