"Coach Ron Rivera is backing his quarterback and saying that Cam Newton’s intent was not to taunt Saints’ players with his celebration.It’s been awhile since I’ve seen an opposing team break up another team’s touchdown celebration.  I guess the frustration got to the Saints’ players early in this one and they reacted.  Rivera also goes on to question the validity in the ejection of Brandon Williams."

"Just when Philly Brown was emerging as a productive slot receiver, he went down with another injury.  Fortunately, he has not been ruled out long-term, and can continue creating chemistry with Newton.Brown was getting into a nice groove earlier this year, and then suffered a concussion that held him out for several games.  His presence is needed on the field and could grow into a dominating WR3 for this Panthers’ squad."
