So once the teams get in the playoffs, the ultimate goal is of course to win the Big Game.  These odds are consistently changing depending on injuries and free agents signed, to name a few factors.  So where do the Carolina Panthers rank by the experts to win the Big Game?

The start of training camp for the 2015 Carolina Panthers marks 21st time.  Out of those 21 years, there has been one year the Panthers have made it to the Big Game and unfortunately did not come home with the ultimate prize.  However, all players think that when training camp starts, they will make the Big Game.

This year was no shortage of it happening, as defensive end Mario Addison has already reiterated it twice.

We’re going all the way, man.  We’ve got all the tools.  All we’ve got to do is put it together, and I see a Super Bowl.  I feel it.  We’re going to the Super Bowl.  I can feel it.  If you speak on it, man, it’ll happen.

Just because the players say it tough, does not always play out (refer to back to July of 2012 when center Ryan Kalil took out a full-page advertisement in “The Charlotte Observer” predicting the Panthers would win it all, before the team finished 7-9 that season).

Instead of going to the players, what about some expert picks.  In March, Bovada had the Seahawks with the best odds at 5-1.  With the recent contract extension of Russell Wilson, this is a good possibility considering contract talks will not be focused on in the season.  Who should we be sure to count out?  The Jaguars and Titans for sure based on Bovada’s odds of 200-1 (although if they do and you bet on them, it would be a very nice return on your investment).

So where does Bovada have the Panthers in March?  40-1.  The same odds as the Falcons, Bills, Chiefs and Chargers.

Maybe we should have Addison tell Bovada they are wrong.
