We know the offensive line was not the best last season in protecting Cam. So the Panthers upgraded by signing Michael Oher. However, I’m sure the talk of how bad of a signing Oher was, which it was not, will start after Monday’s practice.
Twice during Monday’s practice, Cam ran out of bounds on a play and once he was sacked. Cam appeared to be frustrated from the lack of protection and solid coverage. All those out there who think Oher was not a good signing will immediately blame Oher. But before placing blame, get the facts from those that matter – Ron Rivera.

It was reported Oher did not practice well Sunday, but Rivera reminded the media Sunday was his Oher’s first practice in pads in a long time at left tackle. Oher had played right tackle the past two seasons with Tennessee and Baltimore. Rivera set everyone straight
“I disagree with you guys. I don’t think Michael Oher got ran by.”
The take I get from this one – a member of the media made a comment and it was blown out of proportion regarding Oher. Everyone should leave it to the experts to tell it how it is.
So as you can see, four days into training camp and it has been another eventful one.
