For the second time this season, the Carolina Panthers will be sitting on their couch on Sunday

While the rest of the NFC South will be in action today, the Carolina Panthers will be sitting on their couches for the second time this season and watch how their divisional opponents will play.

The reason the Panthers are on their couches?  They defeated the Dallas Cowboys 33-14 on Thanksgiving Day.

Well, the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints all play at 1 p.m. EST allowing the Panthers to be able to go out to dinner after these games.  So what do the Panthers get to watch?

The Falcons welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Atlanta.  The Vikings could be what you could call a surprise team this year, of course having a solid running game back behind Peterson helps.  The Falcons really need to establish themselves again as a good team if they are going to make anyone believers.

On the flip side, with the Packers losing on Thanksgiving Day, a Vikings win will allow them to hold sole possession of first place in the NFC North over the Packers.  A loss puts the Vikings and Packers tied, but the Packers have the tiebreaker right now with the win over the Vikings.

The Buccaneers travel to Indianapolis, where they will face Matt Hasselbeck who remains the starter with Andrew Luck injured.

Jameis Winston is coming off what could be said is his best day as a pro in his rookie year, where he passed for five touchdowns.  However, Hasselbeck is undefeated as a starter this season for the Colts.  The Colts are looking to remain in first place in the AFC South and move above .500.  The Buccaneers are looking to move above .500.

The Saints travel to Houston to take on the Texans.  These Texans are a different team than when the Panthers defeated them earlier this season.  With a Texans win and a Colts loss, the Texans will move into first place in the AFC South.

Next: Panthers defense is stepping it up

The Saints are hoping they can play defense, having already given up a league high 315 points this season.

So what game are you looking the most forward to?
