Question:  Jones versus Norman is going to be a huge battle.  Who wins?

Answer:  Norman is having an exceptional year, and he kept Dez Bryant quiet on Thanksgiving Day. Jones has struggled against the Panthers in recent years; he was held under 60 yards receiving in both meetings of the teams last year. The Falcons best bet is to try and move Jones around the formation, even from the backfield, if it means getting him a favorable matchup.

But these two will see plenty of each other, and it’s going to be a fun battle to watch. Due to Atlanta’s struggles on offense, I’m giving Norman the edge.

Rebuttal:  Once Norman has made it be known he is a shutdown player, defenses shy away from him and he struggles each week to rack up the number of tackles he receives.  If Matt Ryan throws at Norman, look for him to be solid again.
