Panthers win, but not without leaving the game with injuries
Injuries a concern in Carolina Panthers victory
The Carolina Panthers defeated the Atlanta Falcons very easily on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium by a score of 38-0.
However, the game was marred by injuries, which could have put a major damper on the Panthers season if any amounted to being serious.

The Carolina Panthers started the game by scoring on their first possession, something they only did for the third time this year, followed by their next two possession as well.
The first was thanks to Jonathan Stewart leaping over the pile for a 7-0 lead, which was thanks to the huge 40 plus yard run Stewart had.
The next two touchdowns were long passes to Ted Ginn Jr. Yes, the same Ted Ginn that dropped how

many balls last week against the New Orleans Saints that were sure touchdowns?
Three for three to start the game and a 21-0 lead.
By the time the second half started, the Panthers already had the game in hand. However, this huge lead did not come without a few scares.
Stewart left the game with a foot injury in the second quarter. Then, right before halftime, the entire stadium and the entire City of Charlotte held their breath as Greg Olsen twisted his knee in the end zone attempting to catch a pass.
Luckily, coach Ron Rivera said after the game that if the Panthers did not have as big of a lead as they did and the game was a close contest, both Stewart and Olsen would have been able to play.
Can you imagine if the league’s third leading rusher in Stewart, or Cam Newton’s security blanket, was out for an extended period of time?
Stewart and Olsen will hopefully be fine by the time practice rolls around tomorrow. But one guy, Bene Benwikere, will unfortunately not be alright.
Bene suffered a fractured leg late in the game. The Panthers who already are without Charles Tillman, got thinner in the secondary with Bene’s injury.
This is significant for the Panthers, so what do they do?
