Carolina Panthers’ Josh Norman does not deserve New York Giants’ Odell Beckham’s treatment

Josh Norman, cornerback for the undefeated Carolina Panthers, received some pretty harsh treatment by Odell Beckham Jr., wide receiver for the New York Giants, on Sunday.

As the Carolina Panthers escaped with a 38-35 victory on a last second field goal by Panthers kicker Graham Gano, much of the talk was about the physical battle between Norman and Beckham.

From the opening snap of the game, it appeared as if this was going to be a rough one between the two as they immediately began trading jabs, both verbally and physically.

Then, when Beckham dropped a sure touchdown reception on the Giants first drive, he seemed to unravel. The rest of the game his play was summed up with one word – CRAZY.  From three personal foul penalties, a offensive pass interference and a lined up over the center on the game-winning field goal to constant aggression, Beckham should have been thrown out of the game.

So what does CRAZY stand for?

“C” – Completely uncalled for.  Beckham coming like a target on a play where he was not even involved.  He came in with a full head of steam and hit Norman helmet-to-helmet, in what could have caused a severe injury to Norman.

“R” – wRong.  Everything Beckham did on Sunday was wRong.  He should have been either taken out of the game by the Giants coaching staff, or thrown out by the officials.

“A” – **s.  Yes, that is right, another name for a donkey.  That is what Beckham should be called for his play the entire game.  Totally uncalled for regarding his play for a guy so talented.

“Z” – Zoo.  That is the place Beckham should have to go for this this week and maybe he can find out why his animal like self was not not there to begin with.

“Y” – Young.  Beckham might not be a rookie, but he played like a young baby in the game.  Constantly complaining and saying Norman was at fault.

If Beckham is not suspended by the NFL, it is just CRAZY.
