RIGHT GUARD

Starter: Trai Turner

The Panthers are set at both guard positions with young and improving talents. Trai Turner mans the right guard spot and has proved to be one of Carolina’s most valuable draft picks of late. After starting nine games in 2014, Turner started all 16 last season and all postseason contests and made a name for himself as of the league’s emerging talents at guard and was named to his first Pro Bowl.

Backup: Chris Scott

One of Carolina’s most valuable offensive linemen of recent years has been Chris Scott who has provided the team with consistent and reliable production in a relief role over the last three seasons. With the ability to play both guard and center, Scott as seen multiple starting appearances and is a natural in the Panthers’ blocking scheme and should compete with Gradkowski for backup time along the interior of the line.
