RIGHT TACKLE

Starter: Mike Remmers

Panthers head coach Ron Rivera went into the offseason saying that while there would be competition at right tackle, Mike Remmers would go in as the starter. While many will remember Remmers as the player who allowed Von Miller to dominate Carolina in Super Bowl 50, he actually had a solid 2015 season as a whole against other top pass rushing talents. He’ll compete with Williams during camp but unless he shows severe regression, should hold on to his starting job.

Backup: Daryl Williams

While Williams will be the primary backup along the offensive line, he’ll also have a chance to earn a starting role at right tackle. If he can improve and show the Panthers coaches that he’s a more talented option at the position than Remmers, Williams could shake up the lineup on Carolina’s offensive line.
