Geoff Schwartz spent eight seasons in the NFL, the first four of his career with the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers selected him with one of the final picks of the 2008 NFL Draft, 241st overall.
Schwartz spent the first year of his career on the team’s practice squad. The next two years he started 19 games between right tackle and right guard, including all 16 in 2010.
He then went on to start 20 games over the last four years while with the Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants. After sitting out the 2016 season, Schwartz recently announced his retirement from the NFL.
