Round 2, Pick 64

Zay Jones – WR, East Carolina

The Panthers are also in need of a slot receiver and Zay Jones seems to be the perfect match. Jones displayed good speed at the combine and he dominated the Senior Bowl. Many experts believe he can play both the slot and outside positions. Jones is already a record breaker and could easily be a player that Jerricho Cotchery can mold. Some mock drafts have him off the board as high as the end of round-one, so it is not a given that he will be available. If he remains at pick 40, the Panthers could make his trip to the NFL a short one from East Carolina.
