Week 4: at New England

The Panthers first real test of the season should be Week 4 as they take on the defending Super Bowl champs New England Patriots. It is hard to believe but this Patriots team could be even better than the one that came back on the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl.

This offseason, the Patriots have added wide receiver Brandin Cooks as well as cornerback Stephon Gilmore. This game will also be the first time the Panthers go up against Kony Ealy, who the team traded in the offseason.

Even with the improvements the Panthers made, this will be a tough one for them to win and they will most likely suffer their first loss of the season.

Result: Loss (3-1)
