The Carolina Panthers kick off what should be a busy Day 2 by selecting Curtis Samuel.

The Carolina Panthers stayed on the offensive side of the ball and selected former Ohio State Buckeye Curtis Samuel with their first of two second round picks. They have now given Cam Newton two dynamic players, after selecting Christian McCaffrey in the first round, that should help him rebound in 2017.

Samuel is an interesting player as he doesn’t have a true position playing both wide receiver and running back at the collegiate level.

To grade this pick, we break it down into four categories looking at the player themselves, their team fit, the team need, as well as the value. This is our grade for the Carolina Panthers selection of Curtis Samuel.
