Buffalo Bills v Carolina Panthers
CHARLOTTE, NC – SEPTEMBER 17: Captain Munnerlyn #41 of the Carolina Panthers tackles Jordan Matthews #87 of the Buffalo Bills during their game at Bank of America Stadium on September 17, 2017 in Charlotte, North Carolina. (Photo by Grant Halverson/Getty Images) /

Captain Munnerlyn

All eyes will be Kevon Seymour, who will be starting for the injured Daryl Worley, and rightfully so as he will be making his first start for the Panthers. However, Captain Munnerlyn could be the more important player in this secondary

The veteran cornerback was not happy after Week 3, a game where he saw only 11 snaps. However, against the Patriots he could have a major role in the Panthers’ defense.

The Patriots have dangerous wide receivers on the outside in Brandin Cooks and Chris Hogan but this offense is one of the best in the league utilizing the slot receiver. The Patriots got Danny Amendola back last week and should be heavily targeted by Tom Brady.

This game Munnerlyn should bounce back from last week’s performance and show he is still a top nickelback.
