Quarterback: A

Newton not only added the four touchdown passes but contributed 58-yards on the ground with the team’s highest number of carries (14). The Panthers franchise quarterback also completed his seventh game without an interception, five coming in the last six weeks.

Taking advantage of Olsen’s return, Newton completed nine of his 20 passes to his favorite target including a 30-yard strike for a touchdown on the first drive of the second half. After engineering a time consuming opening drive to start the game, Newton found rookie running back Christian McCaffrey for the touchdown after a verbal exchange with Packers linebacker Clay Matthews.
