Week 15: Carolina Panthers 31, Green Bay Packers 24

Quarterback Cam Newton outplayed Aaron Rodgers, who returned for an opportunity to salvage the Packers season. Tossing four touchdown passes without an interception, Newton led Carolina to their second straight home win, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Week 16: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-10), 1:00pm

The Carolina defense dominated Tampa Bay in their first meeting, allowing only a second half field goal. Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston also had three turnovers, one fumble and two interceptions, in the loss. If successful again, the Panthers playoff ticket will be punched.
