Julius Peppers – DE

Rotating on the defensive line with fellow ends Charles Johnson, Mario Addison and Wes Horton, veteran Julius Peppers has thrived. Reaching double-digit sacks (11) for the tenth time in 16 seasons, the former Panthers first-round pick has enjoyed a Hall of Fame career.

In two games versus the Saints, Peppers had a minimal impact with just two tackles. For Carolina to be successful they need to disrupt quarterback Drew Brees in the pocket, which happens to be Peppers specialty.

The North Carolina native has more playoff experience than any other member of the Panthers, having played beyond the regular season seven times with three different teams. Reaching the Super Bowl just once, a loss to New England while previously with the Panthers, his eighth time could end up being the most memorable of all.
