Round 2, 55th overall: Frank Ragnow, Arkansas center

Frank Ragnow’s versatility must be appealing to the Panthers, who obviously value the ability to play multiple positions (see: Christian McCaffrey). Ragnow has starting experience at both guard and center, and would likely compete immediately and possibly be considered the favorite for the open left guard position in 2018. The Panthers also met privately with Ragnow.

WalterFootball.com has Ragnow as the fourth-best center and the fifth-best guard coming in. After being recognized as a first-team All-American by Pro Football Focus and CBS Sports, Ragnow would be pretty good value at 55th overall for Carolina.
