Round 7, 234th overall: Riley Ferguson, Memphis quarterback

Riley Ferguson is the only quarterback prospect Carolina met with; he came in for a local visit with the Panthers from Memphis recently. With the Panthers likely to pick a developmental prospect at quarterback this draft, Ferguson is a good bet after his recent visit.

Ferguson completed 63.1 percent of his passes for 4,257 yards this past year for Memphis, with 38 touchdowns and only nine interceptions. His junior was stellar as well as he learned a new system for his new team. At 234th overall, in the thick of the last round, Ferguson would be a great pick for the Panthers at a more than reasonable price.
