Cameron Artis-Payne

CAP comes in at No 2 on this list and there is a chance he could have a big 2018 campaign. To put it mildly, last year left a lot to be desired. He appeared in 13 games, rushing the ball 18 times for 95 yards and a touchdown. His best game came on November 13 against the Miami Dolphins. In that contest, he rushed the ball seven times for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Per the most recent depth chart from OurLads.com , Artis-Payne is listed as the No. 2 back behind Christian McCaffrey.

Prior to the NFL Draft, I would not have even put him on this list. I thought he would get buried in the backfield with the Panthers drafting a younger, explosive running back. With that being said, they did acquire C.J. Anderson and picked up guys like Kenjon Barner and Elijah Hood. For now, Anderson is the No. 3 back while Hood and Barner are Nos. 4 and 5.  Anderson needs a bounce back year himself and we don’t know what kind of production Barner and Hood will give.

Those factors are among the reasons why Cameron Artis=Payne will bounce back in 2018. He has not had a chance to show what he can do and now he is being given the opportunity. What can he do with it?
