Curtis Samuel

Wide receiver Curtis Samuel is No. 1 on this list due to how much potential he has. Last season, the former Ohio State Buckeye caught 15 passes for 115 yards.

Samuel was having a great game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football in November when injury struck. A Miami Dolphins defensive back rolled on his foot, causing a season-ending ankle injury. He was having one of his best games of the season to that point, having caught five passes for 45 yards and averaging nine yards per catch.

Per the most recent depth chart from OurLads.com Samuel is the No. 2 receiver on the right side behind Devin Funchess.

If there is one obstacle to Samuel having a bounce back season it is that the Carolina Panthers wide receiving corps are teeming with talent. Damiere Byrd, Funchess, Torrey Smith, and Jarius Wright are some of the names that will be looking to see the field this season. Samuel could get lost in the shuffle. However, he has been working hard to get back into shape for the upcoming season and if he carries that intense work ethic into training camp, he could be in line for a great year.
