Jeremiah Sirles

Jeremiah Sirles was signed away from the Vikings this offseason, and he’s one of the candidates for the left guard job.

Sirles went undrafted in 2014, and was pretty soon traded to Minnesota after signing with the Chargers. He wasn’t a regular starter, but he was definitely a solid contributor for the Vikings before reuniting with old coordinator Norv Turner in Carolina recently.

Sirles was given a grade of 45.2 by Pro Football Focus last season, and he scored a 65 from EA Sports in Madden 19. He was graded as a 49.5 before the 2014 draft by the NFL, and his ripe age of 26 earns him a mark of 74. His final score? A disappointing 58.43.

Now, Sirles has a very real chance to earn the job later this month in training camp. He’s just the least likely replacement, according to my rough scoring system.
