The Carolina Panthers are busy packing their equipment bags and moving to their preseason home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Just over an hour southwest of Bank of America Stadium, the Panthers meet every year to prepare for the coming season.
Veterans, rookies and new free agents join one another after spending a few days together over the summer for their first full practices and taste of the NFL experience in the Carolinas. It not only offers fans their first glimpse at a few new faces but also an opportunity to examine how these individuals may contribute to the team this season.
As training camp begins, the Panthers will be happy for a return to football after enduring an offseason with a significant amount of changes both in the front office and on the field. New owner David Tepper is just one of the new faces that fans can expect to see around Wofford College in a few days, in addition to a variety of other new coaches and players.
