Curtis Samuel Health Issues

Added early in last year’s NFL Draft as another weapon for quarterback Cam Newton, Curtis Samuel remains a health concern. Limited last season with various injuries before being placed on the Injured Reserve list to end his rookie season, Samuel starts this training camp on the “Active/Non-Football Injury” list.

Expected to be a full participant in the coming weeks, Samuel needed a little more time to heal after experiencing issues with his surgically repaired ankle. In a suddenly crowded, yet inexperienced, wide receiver room, Samuel can ill afford to miss time impressing his coaches early in camp.
