Panthers release jersey schedule for 2018
The Carolina Panthers recently released their jersey schedule for the 2018 season…
Despite a recent rash of injuries, excitement surrounding the Carolina Panthers for the upcoming season is building. Eager to see how many of the offseason changes perform, there’s a level of uncertainty surrounding Carolina keeping the anticipation in line with expectations – high.
New general manager Marty Hurney has worked to fill vacancies created from free agency with the departures of starting offensive guard, Andrew Norwell, and defensive tackle, Star Lotulelei. Defensively, Dontari Poe was added to fill the gap as competition remains strong for the guard position among a number of candidates.
Hurney also signed veteran cornerback Russ Cockrell, who was expected to start opposite James Bradberry in the secondary before suffering a broken leg during training camp. Potentially out for the season, Carolina will search for a replacement among a talented but extremely young group.
After starting tackle, Daryl Williams, went down earlier it leaves the Panthers looking to fill four starting positions before regular season games begin. Fortunately, a lot of time still remains before the games actually begin to count.

For the first six games Carolina will wear white both at home and on the road. A Sunday home game against Baltimore in Week 8 marks the first change as the Panthers wear black for the first time all season.
Those black jerseys will be on display six times, including every home game against divisional rivals – Atlanta, New Orleans and Tampa Bay. One of the best uniforms in all of football, the Panthers black jersey and pants combination may be seen when the Saints visit for a Monday night game in November.
According to the team website, for preseason games the Panthers will wear blue during both home games against Miami and New England. White will be the jersey of choice at Buffalo and when Carolina visits Pittsburgh.
Overall, the Panthers are 101-110-1 in white jerseys, 65-59 in black and 17-15 in blue during regular season play.
