Will David Tepper Address the Fans?

The Panthers franchise changed ownership during the offseason and new owner David Tepper has already become a familiar face at training camp. Often standing with coach Ron Rivera, it seems Tepper is truly invested in how his team is preparing for the coming season.

Paying a record $2.2 billion without assistance from any minority owners will do that.

As the team enters Bank of America, Friday night provides an excellent opportunity for Tepper to address the fans in attendance. He doesn’t need to have a 45-minute state of the franchise speech prepared but a brief rah-rah statement would likely be well received.

Following a more reserved ownership approach with very few instances of fan interaction, Tepper speaking to the crowd would signify a welcome change in style and approach.
