The Cam-Newton- Greg Olsen connection is still very much alive

This was perhaps one of the biggest takeaways from Fan Fest. The dynamic duo of Cam Newton and Greg Olsen seem to be back and better than ever. By all accounts, the pair have had a strong camp, and the Carolina Panthers and their fans are hoping that it translates to the regular season.

As the Charlotte Observer noted, the two were on the same page at Fan Fest after having a rough go of things on practice Thursday. Olsen said this may be one of their most productive camps to date.

"“We’ve caught a lot of balls this camp, probably as many as we ever have. We’ve caught a lot of balls over the years. So we have a good feel for each other,” Olsen said after the practice."

This is great news for the offense and tremendous news for the passing game. With Norv Turner’s wide-open offense, I can see Newton and Olsen having a field day via the vertical passing game with Olsen busting though the seams. After an injury-plagued 2017 for Olsen, this could be exactly what the doctor ordered.
