Game 2 vs. Miami Dolphins

Friday, August 17 at 7:30pm – Bank of America Stadium – Jersey Color, Blue

Carolina begins their 2018 home campaign by hosting the Miami Dolphins in game two. While fans and analysts both will be eager to see how the two teams match up with one another, those in Carolina will have their eyes on something else.

Since the franchise began play in Charlotte the NFL logo has adorned midfield as a sign of appreciation to the league from owner Jerry Richardson. Many fans have long awaited the day that a Panthers logo finds its way onto the field and this may be the date.

However, an unveiling may be delayed until the Week 1 home opener versus Dallas but if nothing appears at midfield for the first preseason game, it would be a sign that something is about to change.
