NFL.Com – No. 10

NFL.com analyst Elliot Harrison has the Panthers ranked in the top third of all teams but highlights how they still may not make the playoffs. There are an abundance of questions surrounding this group as the 2018 season begins and many will soon be answered but their current ranking feels appropriate.

"Keeping the Panthers in the 10th spot, but that doesn’t mean they’re a playoff team. The NFC South is going to be a dogfight again. Whether the NFC’s toughest division can carry three playoff participants, as it did in 2017, is a valid question. Because it is hard to imagine either the Saints or the Falcons missing this year."

The offense with new coordinator Norv Turner is aimed at helping quarterback Cam Newton improve, but the current injury woes up front may inhibit their ability to protect him. If under consistent pressure, expect this number to fall once the games begin to matter.
